Day 1 ARRIVE CHRISTCHURCH

On arrival at Christchurch Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel. (Self-drive passengers collect your rental car for your exclusive use until the end of the tour package)

Day 2 CHRISTCHURCH-GREYMOUTH -WEST COAST GLACIERS (450kms)

One of the world's best scenic train journeys - The Tranz Alpine winds across spectacular gorges and river valleys, over the massive Southern Alps in Arthur's Pass National Park and through lush beech forest to Greymouth on the West Coast. Continue southwards by coach along the coast to reach Westland National Park and the glacier region. (Self-drive passengers travel over the Canterbury Plains over to Arthur's Pass and then en route to Westland National Park).

Day 3 WEST COAST GLACIERS (B)

A full day at leisure to enjoy the magnificent glaciers. Climb on to the slow moving river of ice or take a scenic flight (optional) for a bird's eye view of this spectacular terrain.

Day 4 WEST COAST GLACIERS - QUEENSTOWN (420 kms) (B)

We depart this morning through the South Westland Heritage Park and across the rugged Haast Pass and Lake Wanaka. This afternoon's travel is through the Kawarau Gorge to reach Queenstown.  

Day 5 MILFORD SOUND EXCURSION (600 kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. An early start following the shores of Lake Wakatipu, and through Te Anau where you will be enthralled by the immense landscape. Travel through beech forest, passing majestic mountains, on through the Homer Tunnel in time to board your catamaran for the Milford Sound cruise. Cruise past Mitre Peak, the highest mountain in the world to rise vertically from the sea, and admire the Stirling and Bowen Waterfalls as you cruise out to sea. Return to the pier for the coach back to Queenstown. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6  QUEENSTOWN

Breakfast at the hotel. This is completely free day for you to pursue your own activities. Queenstown offers jet boating, lake cruised, bungy jumping, rafting, hose riding, gondola rides and may be a visit to the Sky Alpine Casino. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 QUEENSTOWN//ARRIVE SYDNEY

Early this morning a tour on the “Hot Air Balloon” is suggested if time permits.

Transfer to the airport to take an onward flight to Sydney. Arrive Sydney Airport; transfer to the hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Sydney.

Day 8 CITY TOUR (Afternoon)//SHOW BOAT DINNER CRUISE

Breakfast at the hotel. Afternoon proceed for city tour of Sydney. Join your Australian Pacific Touring coach at Pier 26 Aquarium Wharf Darling Harbour to commence an afternoon city tour.  Tour through the historic Rocks area and take in views of the Opera House, Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral, Parliament House and the Art Gallery.  Stop at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for magnificent views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and see the colourful Royal Botanic Gardens.  Visit The Gap to enjoy the stunning views.  Stop at the world famous Bondi Beach then rejoin the coach for the return journey to Sydney travelling through Paddington and the exclusive Eastern Suburbs. Tour concludes at approximately 5.45pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.

In the evening, make you own way to departure point, you may take an optional tour of Showboat Dinner Cruise. (Operate on Mon/Tue/Thurs/Fri/Sat only). Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9  BLUE MOUNTAINS & WILDLIFE PARK

Breakfast at hotel. Blue Mountain Tour: Travel west beyond the suburbs of Sydney into the rugged beauty of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. See steep valleys, canyons and the Three Sisters on the Skyway, Scenic Railway or Cableway (own expense). Enjoy a morning break in the township of Leura and listen to ancient Aboriginal Dreamtime legends before arriving at Echo Point to view the Three Sisters. Enjoy stops at Narrowneck and Cahills Lookouts. Visit an Australian wildlife park with an opportunity to touch a koala and see kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and other unique Australian animals. Lunch at own expense. Evening, return to Sydney and at leisure.   Overnight at hotel

Day 10  SYDNEY-CAIRNS

Breakfast at the hotel. SIC Transfer to the Sydney airport for your departure flight to Cairns. Arrive Cairns & SIC transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 FULL DAY GREEN ISLAND REEF CRUISE WITH LUNCH

Breakfast at hotel. Coach transfer to Cairns Wharf to board your cruise vessel for the crossing to Green Island. Spend five hours exploring the reef and national park and relax on the sandy beaches. Your package includes coral viewing in the semi –sub, glass bottom boat or snorkeling gear, Aussie BBQ lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 CAIRNS-MELBOURNE

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Sydney airport for flight to Melbourne. Arrive Melbourne and transfer to hotel. Evening free at Leisure. Overnight the hotel.

Day 13  GREAT OCEAN ROAD ADVENTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Then enjoy one of the world's great coastal drives with dramatic scenery, striking contrasts and magnificent vistas around every corner. See the seaside town of Lorne and the surfing mecca of Torquay, home to some of Victoria's magnificent surf beaches, including the world-famous Bells Beach. Discover the legends of 'The Shipwreck Coast' at Port Campbell National Park. See the spectacular Twelve Apostles, sandstone pillars that face the raging Southern Ocean, as well as Loch Ard Gorge and the famous rocky span of London Bridge. Lunch at own expense.

Day 14  MELBOURNE-BRISBANE-GOLD COAST

Breakfast at the hotel. Then transfer to the Melbourne for an onward flight to Brisbane. Arrive Brisbane & transfer to Gold Coast Hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 15 SEAWORLD

Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Sea world: A visit to Australia’s No.1 tourist attraction. Marvel at the dolphin and sea lion aquatic show. See divers hand feed sharks, stingrays and gropers. Visit the 3D theatre to view the new “Pirates” movie and enjoy the dozens of thrilling rides including the famous Corkscrew. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16 DAY FREE AT LEISURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Day free at leisure. Overnight stay at Gold Coast.

Day 17 MOVIEWORLD

Breakfast at hotel. Full day visit to Movie world: Stunt Shows, special effect stages and adventures in the 4th dimension. See your favourite Looney Tune cartoon characters and tour through a live working film studio. Experience “Lethal Weapon” – the ride, marvel at the Maverick illusion and magic show and take the thrilling . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18 DEPARTURE FROM BRISBANE

Breakfast at hotel. SIC Transfer to Brisbane airport for your departure flight.
